NOT ALL WAS GREY: EAST BERLIN THEN AND NOW
The “Berliner Morgenpost” continues its series of now-and-then photos of Berlin – this time it is East Berlin that gets its chance to compare the changes.
On a personal note, we can only say we are thrilled to see Mitte, Prenzlauer Berg or Pankow thrive the way they do, but our little Eastern-Bloc-born heart will forever miss the gentle imperfection of the old days;-)
