KREUZBERGED BERLIN

Everything You Never Knew You Wanted to Know About Berlin

TURN YOUR RADIO ON – INTERNATIONAL RADIO DAY AND BERLIN

As the biggest local broadcaster for Berlin and Brandenburg, RBB, reminded us today, February 13th is the International Radio Day – a good moment to make a little Berlin connection.

The first ever regular radio programme was produced and put on air in Germany´s capital in 1923.

You can read all about it in our WordPress post published on the anniversary of the day when the first broadcast was transmitted from the studio off Potsdamer Platz.

And after reading, do not forget to receive some radio waves yourselves – even if only in the digital form which they tend to have of today:-)
