On March 24th, 1849 the following streets were named in Berlin-Kreuzberg:

Mathieustrasse (used to connect today´s Lobeckstrasse with Alexandrinenstrasse)

Wassertorstrasse

Wassertorplatz

Pücklerstrasse

Mariannenstrasse

Mariannenplatz

Brandenburgstrasse (Lobeckstrasse today)

Jakobikirchstrasse

Mariannenufer (Bethaniendamm today)

Bethanienufer (also Bethaniendamm today)

Oranienstrasse

Oranienplatz

At least half of the streets and plazas mentioned above are among the most popular and best known corners of the city of Berlin.
