KREUZBERGED BERLIN

Everything You Never Knew You Wanted to Know About Berlin

SPOTTED IN PASSING: HERMANNPLATZ

Hermannplatz in its full glory: Karstadt in Berlin-Kreuzberg on the right and the square itself plus the houses on the left in Berlin-Neukölln, with the entrance to the U8 station in the middle.

The sign above the entrance is, by the way, one of the comparably few original U-Bahn station signs designed by Alfred Grenander and still remaining in Berlin.
