War Games

The US forces stationed in West Berlin practising their “street guerilla” skills in Wrangelkiez in SO 36 (East Kreuzberg) in 1980.

The “soldier” is standing in front of the building in Skalitzer Strasse 134 at the NKZ (Neues Kreuzberger Zentrum) – Kotti: dr Reinhard Schubart’s praxis had its seat there for some 30 years.

Today it houses one of the most interesting hang-outs in this part of town: the “Monarch” bar.
