KREUZBERGED BERLIN

Everything You Never Knew You Wanted to Know About Berlin

THE WEEKEND CINEMA

As a little sequel to the previous post, here is “The Golem´s” prequel from 1920 with music background by Hans Landsberger.

It is worth knowing that the scenography for the film was designed by Hans Poelzig, whose best known Berlin works are Kino Babylon in Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz in Berlin-Mitte, and the beautiful 1929 Haus des Rundfunks in Masurenallee.

Enjoy it!
