KREUZBERGED BERLIN

Everything You Never Knew You Wanted to Know About Berlin

ZEITUNGSVIERTEL BERLIN: THE MAIN PUBLISHING HOUSES

The photos below present the three main press houses in Berlin in the pre-WW2 Berlin, with Mossehaus in both its old (built 1901-1903 by Wolfenstein & Kremer) and the new version re-designed between 1921 and 1923 by ErichMendelsohn.

The latter is also the only one of the three still standing – you will find it on the corner of Schützen- and Jerusalemerstrasse in Berlin-Mitte.
