KREUZBERGED BERLIN

Everything You Never Knew You Wanted to Know About Berlin

THAT WAS THE ELECTION THAT WAS – MY FIRST TIME

Today, on September 22nd 2013 for the first time since I moved to Germany in 2003 I was allowed to cast a ballot in a federal election. My new German passport did it.

Politics might be bollocks and all politicians crooks but nothing can spoil that perfect moment marking the shift from “Nein, Sie dürfen nicht!” (No, you may not) and “Bitte, machen Sie mit!” (Please, join in).

Well, Germany, beware: I´m here to stay. And from today on I will be throwing my own stones into the pond to make it ripple:)
