KREUZBERGED: BERLIN COMPANION

Everything You Never Knew You Wanted to Know About Berlin

YOU ARE HERE: VIKTORIAPARK WATERFALL

The same waterfall (well, almost the same as it was refurbished once or twice) today

The same waterfall (well, almost the same as it was refurbished once or twice) today

The waterfall in Viktoriapark around 1900 – a man-made “piece of nature” with originally (it is a bit less today) 13,000 litres of water pumped to the top of the hill and coming down with a thud every 60 seconds.

A thing of beauty and part of the Kreuzberg Tour starting this Sunday!

I would love to come. Alas, the flights are all booked out. As children we loved to climb up those rocks. Of course after the war there was no water running down.
