Everything You Never Knew You Wanted to Know About Berlin
Spotted in Baruther Strasse.
I went to school there (1945-47) for a couple of years.
You mean the school corner Nostitzstrasse that continues towards Solmsstrasse? Today there are only parts of the wall and two gates left but I imagine it must have been quite beautiful. Seems it was Blankenstein again. I will try to find some photos. Or do you have some?:-)
I thought it was between Solms- and Zossener Strasse. There was another school behind it in Fürbringerstrasse. It was bombed out and we kids touched the electrified walls to get a shock. I think it is now an empty block of land. I have no picture of the school. I might get one of Google Street view.
