KREUZBERGED BERLIN

Everything You Never Knew You Wanted to Know About Berlin

SPOTTED IN PASSING: TWO WORLDS BLENDING

Spotted under the U1 viaduct on the crossing Gitschiner/Zossener/Lindenstrasse.

The woman on the left was wearing a black burqa while the one on the right was from a different world entirely.

They were talking about children when passing me and my camera by… I hardly dared take a photo of them but in the end decided to. I´m glad I did.

I always struggle with the confidence to photograph people and know I’ve missed some great shots because of it. This was well worth pushing yourself for.

Great that you dared. This is the modern Berlin. The women in the photo can be proud that their status is being recognised as “normal”.
