Everything You Never Knew You Wanted to Know About Berlin

MUSIC SOOTHES THE SOUL: FEIST

Leslie Feist

I used to listen to this song when I was small. I would pretend my mother´s toothbrush is a microphone (AND pretend I could speak English, which was tremendous fun back then and still is), stand in front of the big wall on which my parents hang their posters and give regular performances. My falsetto voice was inimitable.

Next to Abba (of course!) were BEE GEES (what else?) my parents´ favourite group. And it was a 1979 Bee Gees´ song that Leslie Feist covered so beautifully in 2004 on her Let It Die album.

Here is Inside And Out.
