Everything You Never Knew You Wanted to Know About Berlin



On Saturday September 22nd (which makes it two weeks ago but since the weather outside got moody it might be nice to remember better days) thousands of people came to Tempelhofer Feld to enjoy the sight of giant squids, monstrous divers and über-dimensional Duffy Duck hovering, sailing and gliding over their heads.

Drachenfest or Kite Festival took place under at times almost entirely clear skies with just the right amount of stiff breeze blowing to sweep the gentle monsters (and beauties) off the ground and lift them effortlessly high above the former airfield.

Here are some photos of the day. Snotty noses were a small price to pay for the view.
