Giuseppe Savini does magic: with his collection of old photos he roams the city of Bologna and finds the exact spots where those photos were taken. The he “pastes” them (using an ancient and almost forgotten tool known as “the hand”) into the today´s scenery and makes another picture. A meta-picture as it is. Brilliant, simple and beautiful.

The idea alone is so simple and elegant that it’s beautiful. Good find! Thanks.
